Blake is a founding member of One Yellow Rabbit and an award-winning writer and director. His work has been seen on stages throughout Canada and in Europe. He has created or collaborated on such productions as Ilsa, Queen of the Nazi Love Camp, The Ugly Man, Mata Hari: Tigress at the City Gates, Doing Leonard Cohen, In Klezskavania, Dream Machine, The History of Wild Theatre, Thunderstruck, Kawasaki Exit, Munich Now, and Nightingale Alley.
Blake has collaborated with many well-known National and International Artists and directed several films and podcasts, in addition to his long list of theatrical works.
On July 1, 2015 Blake became a Member of the Order of Canada, one of Canada's highest civilian honours.
