Blackfoot traditional drummer and knowledge keeper Skip Wolfleg from Siksika Nation shares stories and traditions about powwow drumming, and workshop participants will be invited to beat the drum.

TRADITIONAL STICK MAKING WORKSHOP

Friday, January 24th
Stoney Nakoda powwow drummer and vocalist Cedric Lighting teaches workshop participants to make and decorate their own drum sticks. Bring your enthusiasm – all supplies and skill-building is provided!
